The wider objective of this project is to make
Sustainable Development and Green Economy the new entrepreneurial
frontier and hot business in Egypt. The project aims to develop a joint
or at least double MSc program on "Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- GIEP" in four different Egyptian universities in order to create a
whole new generation of business and social entrepreneurs with the
skills that will allow them to start-up green businesses, launch
innovative ventures and products, and put in place public policy and
social entrepreneurship innovations.
Objective 1: Create a whole new generation of green business and social entrepreneurs
through the development of a Joint/double MSc program on
"Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship"
in which 4 EG and 3 EU universities are collaborating. Objective 2: Introducing the partner Egyptian universities to sustainable
technologies by establishing "Green Technology
Labs" to carrying out the multidisciplinary
education and research activities. Objective 3: Developing the capacities of the EG academic members to enable them to
teach modern green multidisciplinary courses. Objective 4: Enable the Egyptian partner universities to follow the principals of
"Blended Learning & Teaching"
through training and development of an online Learning Management System
to blend face-to-face eLearning methods together. Objective 5:
Encourage the internationalisation of the
partner Egyptian universities through the EG & EU accreditation
processes and pilot Implementation of the proposed MSc program. |
